Phil Bickert CP, LP
I'm the CEO and founder of Bickert's Orthotics & Prosthetics. I am also an American Board Certified Prosthetist. I received my education at Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center and have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Physics Education.
During my professional career, I have worked with several different companies which have enabled me to experience all facets of the prosthetic and orthotics profession. I provide educational in-services to many hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and universities.
I've designed prostheses for patients of all ages and levels of limb loss including congenital amputees, inter-scapular thoracic, hip disarticulation, below the knee, above the knee, and numerous bilaterals. I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters and coaching or watching them play soccer.
Chad Oyler CPO, MEd
I have had the privilege to work with many patients over the years, one of which even took me on the trip of a lifetime to Tanzania, Africa. I climbed alongside her and provided prosthetic support while she accomplished her lifelong goad of summiting Mount Kilimanjaro. It was incredibly inspiring to see a patient literally climb mountains, overcome obstacles and obtain her goals. This experience with my friend and patient is the personification of why I am in this field and why I am willing to go the extra mile. I find great joy in helping others reach their goals and no matter how grand or how small, I take pride in every "mountain" that is climbed.
I also enjoy all sports and played college soccer. Most important to me however, is my family including my wife and four kids.
Bailey Brown CO
I got into the O and P profession because it is the perfect mix between engineering, art and medicine. I love getting to connect with patients every day. Each patient has a unique journey, and it is incredible for me to be a small part of their story moving forward. I also enjoy being able to work with kids on a regular basis!
I received a Master of Prosthetics-Orthotics from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the University of Mississippi. When I'm not working I'm typically playing volleyball, spending time with family, or watching the Ole Miss Rebels.
Melissa Bickert

I have always felt blessed to help others in reaching whatever goals they are striving to achieve. I have worked in manufacturing facilities most of my career and each has been rewarding in different ways.
By joining Bickert's Orthotics & Prosthetics, I get to see the strength and determination of patients that amazes me each day. I enjoy reading, organizing, photography, and helping others. My true joy is being with my wonderful husband and two beautiful children.
Carlyn Grimes
Office Administrator
My name is Carlyn Grimes. I recently relocated from South Texas with my husband and two sons. Although different from the coastal life, Mississippi has been a blessing to us. We moved here to be closer to family, and luckily, Bickert's O&P is like an extention of my own. I am grateful for all those we get to help and watch the journey they take to reach their goals.
I am the office administrator of the Corinth location. I love to learn new things, painting, help people, making puns, and making other laugh. A smile is the best source of achievement for me.

After retiring (23 years) from Kimberly Clark, I joined Bickert's Orthotics & Prosthetics as the office administrator. It has been a rewarding job, meeting new people and seeing their lives change every day.
My favorite saying is "I see more smiles going out the door than I do coming in." I am thankful to be able to work for such a great facility. I have been married for 33 years, have 2 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, and 4 grandchildren. I love spending time with my wonderful family, traveling, and meeting new people.

My name is Paula Furniss. I am the Office Administrator in the Oxford location. I am blessed to be able to work with such a great group of people. We take pride in what we do at Bickert’s. I have been in the medical field for 15+ years and have an Associate of Arts degree from ICC in Tupelo. I have always felt the front desk was the heart and soul of any company, because they are the first face you see and the last before you leave. I am married to a wonderful husband and we have four children. We love the outdoors.
